We can talk about 1,001 specific issues in Catholic education, homeschooling and family life, but if we do not return to the classical liberal arts, traditional Catholic culture will continue to disappear.  Many call for the restoration of the Latin mass, but the Second Vatican Council and the Novus Ordo Mass were not the cause of the decline in Catholic culture–they were merely symptoms of it. As a man who’s been immersed full-time in classical studies since I was 20 years old, I understand that most Catholic parents will never be able to let go of the modern K-12 curriculum.  Most parents cannot even imagine an alternative to the modern grade-level system and even though I have sent students from the Classical Liberal Arts Academy into religious communities, seminaries, colleges and the military, few will believe me when I tell them that accreditation and K-12 diplomas are not necessary.
