Description
Formal enrollment in the Classical Liberal Arts Academy begins with the Academy Student plan. This plan provides a student with the following benefits:
- access to all CLAA Study Center courses
- live chat support from CLAA staff
- custom task planners from CLAA staff
- hand-written assignments accepted
- discounted rates on private meetings
Any student considering a CLAA certificate or diploma will require direction and assistance from the CLAA staff. That support begins with the Academy Student plan.
1. Access to All CLAA Study Center Courses
With an Academy Student subscription, a student receives access all required courses in the CLAA Study Center. This includes all necessary study materials, quizzes, graded assignments, reports and records. Access to courses has no expiration date and lasts as long as the student’s enrollment subscription remains active.
2. Live Chat Support from CLAA Staff
In addition to email support, students with an Academy subscription have live access to CLAA staff members any time they need it. Simply click on the chat button at the bottom of the Academy website and get live, expert help.
3. Custom Task Planners
Students with an Academy Student subscription are provided with customized student planners that provide them with prioritized tasks to work on. Planners are prepared and updated on request to hold students accountable for each week’s work and to help ensure that students maintain good progress in their studies.
4. Hand-written Assessments
Some parents are concerned about “screen time” and online activity. To help with such concerns, we allow students enrolled with an Academy subscriptions to complete some or all assignments by hand and submit digital copies of their work for grading. To do this, students complete their assignment by hand (on notebook paper or typed), create a digital copy with a scanner or smartphone, then submit the assignment file by email to the Academy office. On the assignment submission page, students simply submit a note saying that the assigment has been submitted by email.
5. Discounted Rates on Private Meetings
Students with an Academy Student subscription receive 50% off the standard rate for private Zoom meetings with the Academy headmaster.
