Welcome to the online home of the Classical Liberal Arts Academy. If you are a Catholic parent unsatisfied with educational options available to your children in modern society, or if you’re an adult who would like to improve on the education you received as a child, you’ve come to the right place. Here, you can enjoy affordable, lifelong access to real classical Catholic education — the education enjoyed by wise men and saints throughout history. The Classical Liberal Arts Academy is for men, women and children seeking real study rather than modern gimmicks.

Modern schools speak of the importance of “lifelong learning”, but this is empty talk. Only in the Classical Liberal Arts Academy can students of all ages can actually enjoy the lifelong study of the classical liberal arts, philosophy, theology and more. A different path may be chosen for each student based on his own unique circumstances and goals. All courses are self-paced and users are free to study as they please.

  • Homeschool Students
    Homeschool students, working under the direction of their parents, may satisfy their K-12 educational requirements while also becoming familiar with real classical Catholic studies. All of the Academy’s online courses are open for self-paced homeschool studies, graded assessment, records and support.
  • Private School Students
    Private schools today commonly offer a public school education with a private school tuition, yet many families can’t afford to homeschool their children. The education of private school students can be enriched by schools or parents enrolling students in any of the the CLAA’s online courses, which include online study materials, online quizzes and tests, graded written assessments and expert support.
  • Adult Students
    Best of all, adults seeking to obtain the education they missed out on as children, or simply to continue learning throughout life, may study any Academy courses independently. All of our courses are self-paced and online, so they can be fit into any schedule and be studied anytime, anywhere. Simply purchase an enrollment subscription or online self-paced courses as desired and get to work.

Extern Studies


Students of all ages may enroll in any desired course for self-paced online studies. There are no expiration dates for courses purchased and enrollment includes study materials (online), quizzes, assignments, grading, record-keeping and live support. Please view our course recommendations for students of all ages and grade levels. Here are a few examples:

  • TRV-111 Latin Reading I
    Begin reading the Latin Vulgate on day one in the Academy’s Latin Reading I course. No prior experience in Latin needed.
  • QRV-321 Classical Geometry
    Train your mind and learn the art that Plato argued leads to knowledge the eternal, study ing Euclid’s Elements in the Academy’s Classical Geometry course.
  • PHL-311 Classical Ethics
    Of all the faults of modern schooling, none is greater than the neglect of moral philosophy. Learn the science of human happiness through the study of Aristotle’s famous Nicomachean Ethics, in the Academy’s Classical Ethics course.

Enrollment Levels


Three levels of enrollment are available to serve student goals and needs:

  • Extern Subscription ($25/month)
    Access to online courses, study materials, quizzes, ticket support. No certificates or diplomas.
  • Student Plan Subscription ($100/month)
    Everything in the Extern Plan plus: graded assessments, reports, records, live support, certificates and diplomas.
  • Premium Student Plan ($300/month)
    Everything in the Student Plan plus: weekly tutorial meetings with the Academy headmaster, consultation, college references.

While enrollment rates are listed above, arrangements may be adjusted in exceptional cases based on academic need and circumstances.

We subject our work for accreditation evaluation to ensure parents and students of our commitment to self-improvement and accountability. Students in the CLAA can study Latin, Greek, philosophy, and theology—the same disciplines that defined education centuries ago—while also preparing for modern academic and vocational goals. Study year-round at home and add to your studies extra-curricular activities in your parish and community to provide your children with the best education possible today.
