A Moral Lesson For All

Post by Agnes Steuben »

I have no idea why I wrote this story. I guess I was bored 8-)

This is the life story of a young boy who was always pulling pranks. Until the day they backfired on him.

Here’s how it goes:

He awoke one Sunday in the middle of the night, to a gloomy outdoors, and the constant sound of thunder echoing through the halls of the mansion.

The perfect time, the boy thought, to pull a simple prank on his sister. He found an old white sheet and cut two holes for his eyes, he then pulled it over himself, enveloping himself in white. He was a ghost, on a dark stormy night, haunting an old house. And its target was the girl who dwelt in it.

He walked over to his sister’s room, making eerie noises and knocking things over along the way. He arrived at the door and snuck in, quite as can be. No noise besides the resounding of thunder through the worn walls of the mansion.

The boy went right next to his sleeping sister, staring intently at her, waiting with anticipation for her to awake. A scream pierced the air, and the boy jumped backward with fright, not expecting his sister to wake so soon, and he fell through the girl’s open window, right into the moat full of alligators.

The boy was seen no more, and life at the mansion went on.

Nobody knew what had happened to the prank pulling lad. No one except his sister...

Maybe you could write another short moral story? I'd like that!
Maybe you could write about why someone shouldn't want a ridiculous amount
of Christmas presents. You could reintroduce John Peanut with that! :D

Yeah! That's a great idea!
John Peanut deserves to be seen again (except this time he will have learned his lesson) :D
