Hello Mr. Michael,
Yesterday in the live class for English Composition, you were explaining the goals of Composition and the three sources of ideas. At one point you said that it was impossible to imagine anything that doesn't exist and I don't really understand this, could you please explain it? I thought that it was possible to imagine in your head a being that never existed. Thank you!
God bless,

Re: Question on English Composition
Hi Gianna! I know I'm not Mr. Michael, but I think I may be able to help
The things we imagine are made up of things that we have seen, so we really only combine things that we have seen to create images that we have not seen. For example, even though I have never seen a green fox, I can imagine a green fox, because I have seen the color green and a fox. However, if the color green did not exist, it would be impossible for me to imagine a green fox, because I wouldn't know what that looked like.
Hope that helps!
God bless,
Michelle Lynch
