Donate to the CLAA

Dear friend,

In 2007, I resigned from my teaching post an excellent private school to devote myself to open the Classical Liberal Arts Academy.  The mission of the Academy was “to research, restore, publish and teach the classical liberal arts”–the true, classical Catholic curriculum that has been studied and taught by wise men and saints.  This was an extremely risky undertaking, as I began the work with no money, and began tutoring local Catholic children and using that money earned for the development of the Academy, while also providing for my wife and children.

Thanks be to God, the Academy has now been running for over 13 years, and has been privately funded from day one.  We have operated as a private for-profit organization and are free from any of the restrictions of non-profit corporations.  We have never sought or accepted any public funding.  We seek no secular accreditation, and are free from any unnecessary membership fees or evaluation restrictions.  As such, we are free to pursue the goals of true, classical Catholic education without any distractions or compromises.  This benefit, of course, doesn’t come cheap.

The work we do offers enough short-term benefits to families to earn most of the financial suport needed for progress in our long-term mission.  The challenge comes from the reality that much of the work that needs to be done cannot generate income and must be done freely and sacrificially.  This is where financial support of from friends and benefactors is needed.

We have enjoyed the generous support of Catholic families through the years, and continue to do so.   We ask you to consider joining them and helping to accomplish the mission of the Classical Liberal Arts Academy.  We work very efficiently, making contributions of any amount significant and helpful.

In 13 years, we have established 100 affordable, online courses for Catholic students, are serving Catholic students around the world, are building a free online classical Catholic library, have restored thousands of pages of classical Catholic study materials, and have prepared a number of young men and women for religious vocations–and we’re just getting started.

If you support the work that we’re doing and are able to contribute financially, please do so–either by enrolling in our online programs and services, or by donating to the Academy.

I thank you in advance for your generosity and look forward to sharing in the rewards with you.  I’ll follow up with you personally and keep you informed of what’s going on behind the scenes and who things are progressing.
