In this lesson, children study the first consonant sound–classical B–and the syllables it forms with the classical vowel sounds:  A, E, I, O and U.

If you believe the child has already memorized these, use the assessment below to make sure this is true.  If not, let the child study the lesson slideshow, and drill the child until all lowercase letters can be named quickly from memory.
