In the Classical Liberal Arts Academy, our students spend a great deal of time studying Aesop’s Fables. These fables provide students of all ages with the best introduction to moral philosophy, while arousing interest in natural philosophy as well.
One exercise we recommend for young students is to draw a picture for each fable that expresses its moral lesson.
Aesop’s Fables have provided artists throughout history with endless material and we hope to help our students participate in this tradition.
We invite students to share their drawings on the Student Forum on the Aesop’s Fables course page and enjoy one another’s work.
To share your drawing, simply take a photo and upload the photo to the Student Forum. Select “Add a new discussion topic”, give your drawing a clear title, and post your photo. If you’d like, add a description to explain what you’ve drawn, or leave your drawing to the interpretation of your classmates.
I look forward to seeing your work!
God bless your studies,
Mr. William C. Michael, Headmaster
