Holiday Music on Classical Catholic Radio

Dear friends,

Ready or not, the fall and winter holiday seasons are upon us.

Next week, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving (11/24) and, more importantly, Advent Season begins on Sunday (11/27)!

Our Classical Catholic Radio station will be adding beautiful holiday music to our normal selection of sacred and classical music, but not in the obnoxious way modern radio stations do. We hope that our station can provide families with the perfect background music for holiday events, where the holidays are celebrate, but the reverence and focus of Catholic life is always maintained.

For Thanksgiving week, we will be adding a number of Thanksgiving hymns to the station, which will be played throughout the day. These will include English hymns like “Come Ye Thankful People Come” and “Now Thank We All Our God”, and Anglican chant including Psalms 19 and 104.

For Advent, we will be adding traditional Advent hymns and chants that will play until Christmas arrives. These will include English hymns like “O Come, Emmanuel”, “On Jordan’s Bank”, and Gregorian chants from the Advent season.

For Christmas, we will add traditional Christmas hymns and chants from Christmas Eve through Epiphany. This will include English Christmas hymns, popular Christmas carols, Christmas chants and more.

While these holiday selections are added, our normal playlist will keep things balanced.

God bless your families,

Mr. William C. Michael
