How Do Live Class Meetings Work?

In the Classical Liberal Arts Academy, all students enjoy the opportunity to study the classical Catholic curriculum for mastery, from beginning to end, at their own pace. They have 24/7 access to all lesson content and assessments. This allows families to enjoy the benefits of homeschooling: year-round study, scheduling flexibility, self-paced study, etc. Students are not dependent on “teachers” or scheduled classes for their education.

This independent study solves most of the problems experienced in modern schools and study programs, but one thing is lacking: the opportunity to discuss their studies, ask questions, engage with other students, etc. This is provided in our live class meetings.

Live classes meet weekly at scheduled times, led by Mr. William C. Michael. These classes require no preparation from students, nor will there be any assessments following these classes. All students will continue to work independently in their courses studying the published online content and assessments. In live classes, Mr. Michael will lead students in reading and discussing lesson content to make the students comfortable with the ideas in the classical Catholic curriculum, which will benefit all of their studies. Students can begin attending live class meetings at any time during the year and may participate as much or as little as they wish. These will be comfortable, conversational classes intended to encourage and help all students attending.

When Will Live Classes Begin?

Live classes began on Monday, January 9, 2023.  No worries, new students can join at any time.

How Can Students Register for Live Classes?

All students must register for classes they will attend. This simply means adding the student’s name and contact email address on the class registration page (see class links above). For students not enrolled in the Premium Student Plan, payment arrangements may be made with Mr. Michael directly.

How Can We Get More Information?

Information on live classes in the CLAA will be posted on this page, regularly.

If you would like to discuss live classes, please contact me directly.

God bless your studies,
Mr. William C. Michael, Headmaster
