Enrollment is now open for the Classical Liberal Arts Academy’s new Petty School courses.
Our children receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion around age 7 because that is understood to be the dawn of the “age of Reason”. It is easy to understand, then, that formal studies would begin after this point in their lives. For the period before formal studies begin, the Petty School provides young children with helpful lessons to prepare them for classical studies. These lessons are video-based and simple, and introduce children to the concepts they will study in the Classical Liberal Arts Academy when they’re a little older.
From 2009-2018, we offered a number of Petty School courses which were among our most popular courses. In 2021, we are re-producing our Petty School courses and expanding the number of courses offered to little ones. New lessons for each of the courses below will be published weekly, beginning in August. Sample lessons will be posted early in August.
